New Claims Reporting Process for SCOR Policyholders

Effective Date: August 1, 2025

Overview:

Cover Whale is updating its claims reporting process for SCOR policyholders to streamline the handling of 1st Party Auto Physical Damage (APD) claims. Effective August 1, 2025, Gallagher Bassett will assume management of all new claim requests. (Please note that in-progress claims–and any new claims filed before August 1–will continue to be handled by the prior administrator, Sedgwick. This article outlines the steps you need to follow when reporting a new APD claim under your SCOR policy.

To report a new claim, please complete and submit the APD Claim Reporting Form (linked to the actual form) via email to Gallagher Bassett.

Report Incidents Promptly: To help contain costs and expedite processing, all incidents should be reported immediately.

Claim Submissions: Remember, submitting a claim is not an admission of liability. Gallagher Bassett will conduct an investigation into each claim.

- Date and time of the accident
- Location of the incident
- Driver’s name
- Brief description of the event
