What Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) are supported?

Cover Whale's supported ELDs cover more than 85% of devices available in the U.S.

To satisfy our telemetry data-sharing requirement for Auto Liability coverage, Cover Whale supports both Electronic Logging Device (ELD) connections as well as Cover Whale-provided dashcams. 

Because most drivers already have an ELD installed in their vehicle, this option offers a fast and flexible way to share data with Cover Whale.

Cover Whale supports ELD connections through two ELD data platforms, Terminal and TruckerCloud, for the providers listed in the table below.

Drivers who have ELDs that are not on the list below will be required to install a Cover Whale-issued dashcam. See how to choose the ELD option during application in this demo video.

***Note for Motive users: If the driver is connecting an ELD by Motive, please note that they will need to input their admin account information, not the user account information that they may be more familiar with. They can find their admin account information in their original Motive paperwork or contact Motive to request their admin account information.
