The dashcam was paid for. Why does the policyholder need to return it when the policy ends?

The telemetry data-sharing underwriting fee covers the cost of the Driver Safety Program, including dashcam usage (if selected as the data-sharing option), monitoring, and real-time driver coaching. However, the dashcam is on loan from the vendor while the insured has an active policy with us.

When the policy is no longer in effect, the dashcam must be returned to the vendor. To facilitate this process, a return shipping label will be sent to the insured, making it easy for them to return the dashcam.
