Addressing scenarios where policyholders have not received their camera(s)
Last Updated 4/10/24
If you or a policyholder has received an email from Cover Whale stating that your policyholder is non-compliant about installing one or more of our dash cams, this means that our records indicate the policyholder has already received their camera(s) but they are not compliant with installing it.
There are two options for your policyholder to become compliant:
1. Have the policyholder connect their electronic logging device (ELD) to Terminal and enable data sharing.
- This takes the place of a dash cam for data sharing. There is no charge for this.
- The link to connect to Terminal was sent to you and the policyholder in the non-compliance email.
2. Place an order for a replacement dashcam.
- There is a $300 charge per vehicle.
- Reply back with the policyholder's preferred shipping address. PO boxes are not accepted. Someone at the shipping address must be available to sign for the package.
- Advise the policyholder that a $300 per-vehicle invoice will be emailed to them once a valid shipping address is received. Dashcams will not be shipped to the policyholder without payment.
