Follow these step-by-step instructions to go through the entire quote-to-bind process with our self-service platform:

  1. Enter the DOT Number for the applicant. The system will automatically fill in vital information, such as the policyholder's name, mailing address, and business address.
  2. Provide the Total Value of Trucks and the Total Value of Trailers.
  3. Review and agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Brokerage Agreement, then click Let's Finish the App.
    1. Note: Once the first page is completed, click Application to Quote to resume any time.
  4. Choose the coverages to quote, input the desired effective date, and click Next.
  5. Fill in the Doing Business As (DBA) and Owner's name, if applicable.
  6. If the business and dashcam addresses match the mailing address, tick the boxes and the system will autofill them.
  7. Type in the Insured Contact Info, add an Additional Insured if needed, and hit Next.
  8. The system defaults to a $7,500 Towing, Labor, and Storage Limit, but you can pick up higher amounts to $25,000.
  9. For Trailer Interchange Agreement, select the limit and the Auto Liability Limit, either $750,000 or $1 million.
  10. Pick if a Waiver of Subrogation, or Primary or Non-contributory for TGL or AL is needed, then press Next.
  11. Choose the ELD Vendor Name from the dropdown, or select "I'm not sure" if you're unsure.
  12. If Federal or State Filings for Auto Liability are required, click Yes.
  13. Describe the operation and confirm it's not on the ineligible list, clicking Yes or No, then press Next.
  14. Verify the Radius Details, which the system pulled earlier using the DOT Number, then click Next.
  15. Choose the Motor Truck Cargo Limit from the dropdown.
  16. Enter the Commodities, specify if they are Refrigerated Goods, and hit Next.

And there you have it! Get ready to make getting coverage a breeze with the Cover Whale Platform!
