How do I add an additional insured or policyholder on the Cover Whale Platform?

Need to add an insured ASAP? From generating a quote all the way to binding them to your coverage, you can get your fleet on the road in just a few easy steps.

Additional policyholders can be added only when the policy includes Auto Liability or Trucking General Liability.

Follow these steps to add an additional insured or policyholder:

1. Click Create Endorsement.
2. Enter the Effective Date and click Create Endorsement.
3. Click Insured on the left side.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click + Add Additional Insured.
5. Enter the additional insured's information and click Add.
6. Click Next and then scroll to the bottom to review the details.
7. Read and agree to the Terms and then click Request Quote. 

Once the quote has been released and presented to the policyholder, the final step would be to bind those changes.

1. Click Request to Bind and then Try instant Bind.
2. Read and agree to the Terms and then type your name to authorize and approve and then click Request to Bind.
3. Our system will instantly bind those changes and email the binding documents directly to the agent.
