How can I submit a Broker of Record (BOR) change request?

Please note that we are unable to process mid-term BORs at this time and it can only be done at account renewal. 

We do not accept written letter requests for BOR changes. A Broker of Record Change Request (ACORD) form  must be completed with the policyholder’s wet signature. If typed names are used in place of a wet signature, a verifiable e-signature audit trail is required.

REQUIRED FIELDS

  • New agency name, number, and email
  • Current agency 
  • Named insured
  • ALL Cover Whale policy numbers
  • ALL Cover Whale lines of business
  • Effective and expiration dates

Email the signed form to us at hello@coverwhale.com with formal/wet signatures, or if eSignature is being used, please supply the e-signature audit trail.

Once we have reviewed your request, we'll get back to you within five business days.
