To experience the fastest and most efficient application process, you’ll need to (a) respond to Cover Whale’s requests for information and provide requested documentation in a timely manner, and (b) meet our approval requirements.
For transparency, not all agencies seeking a direct appointment with Cover Whale will be approved. We adhere to time-honed agency business parameters and strict compliance standards. To start, our basic agency qualifications are as follows:

- Must have dedicated transportation practice and/or producers who are specifically designated to the transportation space
We look forward to receiving and reviewing your application. Here is what to expect:
The link below will present a short form for you to complete and submit. Based on this information, you’ll receive an email letting you know whether or not your agency qualifies to move forward with our appointment approval process. If your agency is not approved to move forward, we’ll send an email to that effect, along with an option to be referred to one of our trusted wholesale partners.
If your agency is approved to move forward, you’ll also receive an email from DocuSign requesting further information about your agency. By completing and submitting this information, your agency’s application will move into successive business and compliance reviews. Based on the outcome of these reviews you will receive the Cover Whale Broker Agreement for execution. Upon signing, you’ll be given access to our insurance platform, and can start quoting and binding on behalf of your clients immediately
Before you start, here’s a time-saving tip: gather your E&O Certificate of Insurance (COI), your full E&O policy, and all owner names with corresponding ownership percentages. This will save you time during the application process.
We look forward to working with you.
