Yes, Cover Whale processes both federal and state filings. For federal filings, based on the requirements set by the FMCSA, Cover Whale reports all 91X filings at the $750k minimum limit. The 91X limit may not be equal to the policyholder's Auto Liability insurance limit.
All new business filings are completed based on the selection made in the application under the Operations tab. Filings are processed within one business day for new business applications, cancellations, and reinstatements.
The Certificate of Insurance (COI) should be carried by the policyholder at all times as proof of their Auto Liability policy limit.
