Can motor trucking cargo (MTC) coverage be added without adding auto physical damage (APD)?

Yes, if a policyholder is adding an additional vehicle and only wants MTC coverage without APD coverage, they can enter the vehicle with a value of $0. This will create an endorsement that will only charge cargo coverage for that additional vehicle. You can also do this at new business when entering multiple vehicles. However, the Cover Whale Platform requires that at least one vehicle has a value listed.
