Which operations are not eligible for coverage with Cover Whale?

There are some operations that don't qualify for coverage with Cover Whale due to their specific uses or specialized risks. The following operations are considered ineligible:

  • Ambulances, EMT, and mobile blood banks
  • Armored cars
  • Arms, ammunition, and fireworks
  • Boat haulers
  • Automobile dismantlers
  • Boom trucks
  • Brokerage/freight forwarding
  • Cannabis haulers
  • Carnivals and circus
  • Cement mixers and pumpers
  • Coal haulers
  • Contractors or contractor equipment mobile equipment
  • Cotton haulers
  • Courier services, magazines, news delivery, parcel, or film delivery
  • Drive away or transporter plates
  • Driving schools
  • Dump trucks
  • Egg haulers
  • Fast food delivery, including restaurant take-out delivery
  • Final delivery
  • Freight brokerage
  • Garbage/refuse
  • Hazmat, nuclear, biological
  • Household goods movers
  • Livestock transporters
  • Logging operations
  • Milk haulers
  • Mobile cranes, vehicles with buckets
  • Mobile home toters
  • Mobile home toters, building movers
  • Municipal
  • Operating outside of the US
  • Operations using double/triple trailers
  • Oversized/overweight haulers requiring pilot cars
  • Owned units, rented or leased to others 
  • Private passenger vehicles
  • Public livery: Buses, taxis, black cars, ride share, shuttle, daycare, or church
  • Rental leasing, demo vehicles
  • Salvage, scrap metal
  • Sand and gravel, including sandboxes
  • Steel dealers
  • Tankers 
  • Towing/repossession
  • Vendor trucks
  • Water haulers/tankers 

These vehicles do not meet the criteria for Cover Whale's coverage policies due to their specific use or specialized risks.
